Challenge
To create a digital ordering kiosk for a quick service stir-fry concept
Solution
After reviewing project goals with my manager and researching our audience, I developed two user personas to guide design decisions and discussions for the touchscreen experience. From there, I sketched out the user flow with a series of post-it notes to review and discuss pain points in the proposed user flow. Next, the user flow was rendered in higher fidelity with digital wireframes. At this phase, a mockup of the visual design was rendered to assist in vendor discussions and to assist with stakeholder buy-in before continuing the design process. While this project was ultimately abandoned, it was a great exercise in building out a digital experience with the user at the forefront of the process.
